On 1 June 2010, VINACONEX - ITC organized the Open ceremony to launch the Tung Thu beach, which is one amongst items of Cat Ba Amatina project invested by VINACONEX - ITC in Cai Gia Gulf, Cat Ba Island, Hai Phong City.

This is the first beach at Cat Ba Island which has been designed and constructed to meet international standards and provide tourists with a variety of entertainment services. Especially, Tung Thu is the only beach in the Island that has open-air stage on the beach with unique design, which will make it an ideal destination for major events such as beauty contests, musical performances, etc. at national scale.

In the tourist season this year, Tung Thu beach will serve as a new and attractive destination for visitors to Cat Ba Island besides other beaches which have become familiar with tourists and always in a circumstance of overload and lack of entertainment services.

In addition to Tung Thu beach, VINACONEX - ITC is also investing in a series of other items, including resorts, villas, sport and entertainment areas, etc. in order to develop the infrastructure of Cat Ba Island to satisfy the needs of visitors from Hai Phong city and the whole country.
